Wild
Torah & Grace

What makes us wild?
The term WILD speaks of non-conformity. For us, that's not conforming to the sinful nature of the world. Because of this, WILD isn't acceptable to a world that wants to pursue sin in the form of fleshly desires, comforts, and lusts. It makes the WILD set apart because they aren't distracted by the next big thing man can build or the next man-made "holy" tradition that promises entertainment and comfort. When all the rest of the world and the deceived churches try to make us civilized in our sin, be different, be a new creation, be WILD!

Why Torah "and" Grace?
We don't teach faith based on ONLY TORAH or faith based on ONLY GRACE. These extremes are what make up the "Deceived Church". You know what I'm talking about, the one that the majority of Christ's disciples will fall to and lose their salvation. Most have already and don't even know it, that's why it's called deception. Chances are, that if you are sitting in one of the 1500+ denominational churches, that there has been compromises leaning in one direction or the other. These are the very places that we are called to "COME OUT OF" not dwell in. The WILD within us will not feel comfortable here as the Holy Spirit urges us to "GET OUT!". You know, you probably have already heard it....are you listening or are you too comfortable in that pew listening to sermons that tickle your ears?
Both of these "False Faiths" believe and argue that the other side is extremely wrong. Scripture shows us the truth of the matter and that they are both sides of the same coin. The coin of deception. Our adversary, Satan, doesn't care which one you follow, as long as you follow one of them. A individual or church that is "On Fire for the Lord" but deceived is still deceived, they just don't know it. That's what he wants. That's his tactical strategy. Keep them ignorant, being confident in a salvation that they don't even have.

Lets show you how TORAH & GRACE come together and that True Faith is not just one or the other.

Let's begin with TORAH. This is translated "law" many times in the English language. Unfortunately this causes it to miss the meaning of the original word since the word law tends to have a negative feel to it. The Hebrew word this is translated from is TORAH, referring to the first 5 books of the Old Testament. In essence, it means "THE FATHER'S INSTRUCTIONS TO HIS CHILDREN FOR THE PURPOSE OF TRAINING THEM TO DO HIS WILL". It is literally the Word of God, from His very mouth. You probably all heard the following verse from Matthew 4:4, but didn't really understand what it was referring too.

"It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. "

We are suppose to live by TORAH, God's Word. Pretty simple right? So how did a false faith get you to believe this verse meant to "not" live by TORAH, to "not" live by God's Word? Something to think about. The Holy Spirit, if it dwells in you, will take this and run it through your mind until you see the truth. SORRY, NOT SORRY.

This sounds great, but here is the catch. This is where the TORAH Only faith goes off the rails. We can't just do the entire TORAH and expect to walk right into the Kingdom of Heaven, at least not by TORAH alone. Think of it this way, you run a cross-country race, the TORAH gets you 999 steps all the way up to the finish line. Here is the realization, you can't step over and win because TORAH was never designed to let you do that. You need that last step. That's where GRACE comes in.

Christ's sacrifice brought in GRACE to get us over that finish line. You have probably heard already that it is a free gift and can't be earned through works. That would be correct. We can't get over that finish line by doing ONLY the works of TORAH. Think of GRACE as Christ picking you up and taking that last step for you. Something we can't ever achieve on our own. That doesn't mean we throw TORAH away because it can't do that last step. If you took 999 steps to get there, it is by TORAH. That last step of GRACE, even though it's only 1 out of 1000, is just as important to getting you over that finish line. You need both to get there.

Hopefully you are getting the picture, but if not, think of it this way. We will work backwards from salvation to faith. Salvation is only accessible by GRACE, GRACE is only accessible by FAITH, FAITH is only alive if it is accompanied by the "good works" of TORAH. So the path to salvation is Faith & Good Works of the TORAH which gives you a LIVING FAITH (the Faith of Christ) which has access to the free gift of GRACE to those who believe in Christ. Then by that GRACE are we saved.

You see, a dead faith has no access to grace, but TORAH alone can't get you over the finish line either. It takes BOTH to win!

The NITTY GRITTY

We may as well get out front of this. If you are here, then something must have drawn you. Either you're a seeker, curious, looking for God's truth, or you're hardhearted and came here to mock, scoff, or attack the second God's Word is spoken. Either way, hold on, you're in for quite a journey....

Our Teachings
WILD Torah & Grace teaches directly from raw scripture (66 book canon) and not from the next best selling book of man's spiritual insight or the next discipleship program that's all the rage in modern Churchianity. We believe that scripture interprets scripture and the full meaning of the teachings has to come from the Word of God as a whole. We won't be just selecting some verses in one testament or another, purposefully manipulate them and hide/ignore any other passages that disagree with what "we" want the final conclusion to say.

We also acknowledge that the understanding of scripture is "spiritually discerned", not intellectually discerned, and that those who continue in a worldly mindset and with trust in their vast amounts of training from men, will not be able to see the truth. So the amount of your "time in ministry" or the credentials that you have earned from men, will not be grounds for making your opinion or words stronger than what scripture says. We hold that same standard to ourselves and all teachings given in this fellowship are tested against scripture and not just "trusted" because of the boasting or popularity of the person saying it.

You don't look like a "traditional" Christian church
If you have read this far you can probably feel that WILD grit and are starting to understand, this isn't a "traditional Christian church". You see, God's children are no longer going to deal with lies, half-truths and manipulation anymore. Those are the fruits of a man-made "niceness" doctrine that teaches us to ignore sin. That's the world's/deceived church doctrine and we won't conform to that. We aren't in it for the popularity or prosperity that man can give. We aren't in it for the "likes" on a social media post. We are definitely not in it for a paycheck. We are WILD, this means that if scripture tells us something (even if it's hard to hear), or it reveals that even a fun family tradition that we partook of for years, is found sinful, then us being WILD, will be joined together with that conviction. That's because we have faith that it is right, good, and just. That's the standard we live by and for. We will accept the truth of scripture, strive to change our ways, conquer that sin, and endure what comes from it. No compromises.

The truth of scripture has been put on the shelf for so long that people who hear it constantly ask, "Why isn't this taught at my church? My family has been there for generations!" The answer is, because they don't know it to teach it . They are just parroting what man has taught them, what they were told to teach to stay in good standing (with man & the denomination), not what the Holy Spirit revealed to them from God's Word. They have been deceived and are now decieveing others, usually unknowningly. Don't get caged in that deception, come out of it.....be WILD!

wild discipleship
EVERY WEDNESDAY 6-7PM
What does the Discipleship Course look like?
Here's a picture of our typical WILD discipleship at the Ranger's Ridge homestead. A mix of people sitting in camp chairs, on the ground, in the swing at the back or even just courteously standing to the side, listening. Typically outside, canvas tent, ground beneath your feet, campfire, whiteboard, bibles open, and a lot of scripture. We are WILD after all. Kind of gives you a picture of what it looked like when Christ or the apostles were teaching from house to house. It doesn't take a new "temple" to be discipled. Obviously if we teach at your location it doesn't have to look like this....except the scripture, that can't change.
This content of WILD discipleship follows the template given to us by Peter in 2 Peter 1:3-11 (ESV):
"His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence, by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire. For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For whoever lacks these qualities is so nearsighted that he is blind, having forgotten that he was cleansed from his former sins. Therefore, brothers, be all the more diligent to confirm your calling and election, for if you practice these qualities you will never fall. For in this way there will be richly provided for you an entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."
You see, all these things (FAITH, VIRTUE, KNOWLEDGE, SELF-CONTROL, STEADFASTNESS, GODLINESS, BROTHERLY AFFECTION, AND LOVE) have to be done, by us. They aren't "automatically" done by saying a "salvation prayer", we don't become automatically victors over sin, we don't become automatically Godly, we aren't automatically Holy. This is what the deceived church teaches. They tell us there is no need to do the "good works" of our faith, and if we do, they persecute us for it and call us "legalistic". In the meanwhile, if we follow that church were it's headed, we lose our salvation and become useless for the Kingdom of God. What we do become is commodities for the deceived church as we are taught to give free labor (for their works) and resources (tithes and all we have) for the raising up of their man-made kingdom. If you check scripture you will see the huge manipulation they need to teach to get you to believe this is scriptural. We must be wise to this deception and non-conforming to it. We need to be WILD, running down the path, navigating around sin as we go over rock and log, seeing stumbling blocks ahead and avoiding them, helping those saints who have fallen on the path, picking them up and carrying them until they find their footing again, running together in unity of a living faith, all the while, enduring the arrows and rocks thrown at us from those (of the world/deceived church) who hate that we are even on that path in the first place. Christ went down that path, the WILD follow him!

Who can come?
Everyone is welcome to join this discipleship course at any time, but we recommend that you start afresh. Especially if you are new to the faith. These sections build strongly on each other. This is why so many saints fall when their pastor jumps to the end and only teaches them to love each other and that's it. Not that it shouldn't be taught, but it's at the end for a reason. Without the support underneath it first, even the foolish man's beautiful house fell down when he built it on sand. Without a discipleship foundation, this is what your love to others will look like, broken and worthless. Contact us to discuss when you can get started.

NOW What?
I have to say, if you got here, you got guts! The kind the Kingdom of God is looking for. Contact us if you would like to attend or are interested in having a new course started at your location, or really......even if you just want to chat about these things of God and the situation you find yourself in. We are always up for that, no obligations. We don't chase the hardhearted that don't want it, we are too busy pursuing and protecting the seekers that do.

Wild fellowship
Every Saturday starts at 11am
A Shabbat Gathering
Our gathering is in keeping of the perpetual covenant to remember and keep the Sabbath on the seventh day. I'll say this here, because we always get asked. No we are not Seventh Day Adventists as we don't believe that portions of their doctrine line up with scripture. Having said that, remembering and keeping the Sabbath on the seventh day does and we are just WILD enough to do it in the face of world disapproval. Think about it, the day that the world wants us to schedule events and play on the most is God's Sabbath Day. Why is that? We have Work, Sports, Weddings, Funerals, Graduations, Birthdays, Baby Showers, etc.). Our whole year of Saturdays are planned well in advance to NOT BE SET APART, but instead to be conformed to the world schedule. Now why do you think that our adversary Satan has worked so hard to make that happen? This is your chance to ruin his life work, BE WILD...

A Holy Convocation
Our fellowship gathering is specific for the "gathering of the saints". It is for those who have already professed their faith and have joined in fellowship with us. This is not an "open to all" gathering or a time to preach to the masses, or an outreach program. Instead it is a time to be "set apart" from the world. To rest from those outside of the fellowship and focus on the needs and teaching of the saints.

We spend this time:
-
Listening to the reading of the Torah (First 5 books of Bible) without commentary or interpretation - this is the MEAT for those who have already accepted the milk.
-
Discussion and teaching of what was read in the Torah in an open causal conversation during fellowship
-
Share a meal (Lord's Supper)
-
Confessing sins to one another and praying for one another
-
Edifying one another (Encouragement, Gentle Admonishing, and Honoring "Good Works")

Can I Join?
Anyone who has done the Faith and Virtue portions of our WILD discipleship and come to a faith in what scripture states in those portions, can attend the WILD fellowship.

Also, anyone who has come to the same faith without going through our WILD discipleship is welcome to join us. A quick review would be done to establish that there is unity in faith.

If you feel you are of a similar faith, please contact us to discuss you joining us for our WILD fellowship or to see if further discipleship is needed.
